By the end of July, RELYUM will deliver to ECTI, its partner in Thailand, the fourth lot of devices that have been acquired for providing high-availability communications (IEC 62439-3 Clause 4 – Parallel Redundant Protocol) to PEA (Provintial Electricity Authority) Utility’s substations.
Each of the four projects that have been contracted include the following “zero-packet-loss” devices:
- RELY-RB Time-aware Redbox-Switch
- RELY-PCIe Time-aware Refbox-DAN NIC, that allows to transform a standard computer into a DAN (Dual Attached Node) of a PRP network.
With this new project, the total number of substations that include RELYUM devices is 20. Also, it reinforces the partnership between the Thai company ECTI and Relyum, who are studying new collaborations in the region.
