Last week Relyum has been exhibiting at European Utility Week in Paris, where it showcased some of its latest developments.
- On one side, the new compact-size PCIe NIC was presented. This new hardware platform responds to market requirements, demanding advanced networking and sub-microsecond synchronization for any computer, regardless to its size. The new low-profile PCIe platform is now available for Time-Sensitive Networking and for HSR/PRP/PTP High-Availability networks.
- In its booth, Relyum also presented a setup with the latest release of its RELY-REC traffic recording. with enhanced features like:
- TAP or PORT (mirroring) recording, for conventional and high-availability (HSR/PRP) networks
- MANUAL (continuous) or TRIGGER mode (with selectable pre-trigger and post-trigger)
- TIMESTAMPING source: network PTP, NTP, internal or external clock
- CONFIGURABLE FILTERS for storage optimization and efficient monitoring
- Custom, based on Wireshark semantic
- Based on layer 2 & layer 3 predefined fields
- SIMULTANEOUS REMOTE ACCESS to records stored in RELY-REC
- Multiple input conditions
- Analog / digital input signals
- Alarms and signals from third party systems
- Time schedule
- Synchronization lost
- Packet inspection (GOOSE, SMV,…)
- Finally, a live demo showcasing the new RELY-SV-PCIe NIC, performing Layer 2 IEC 61850-9-2 (SV) frame processing:
- High performance implementation of DFT computation module for calculating magnitude and phase of the first harmonic (50 or 60 Hz)
- High performance RMS computation module
- Up to 40 simultaneous SV streams supported with a process window of 1 (full calculation with each new sample)
- Up to 64 streams with larger process window
- Deterministic latency for full computation of 6us
- Status, configuration and statistic counter registers
